We had an amazing stay at this modern albergue. the rooms were superb, with comfortable beds and a long shared balcony. the rainforest shower was excellent, and we were impressed by the commercial washing machine and dryer facilities in the launderette. Dinner at the bar/cafe was tasty and reasonably priced. the location was perfect, and we loved the setting with plenty of room and clothesline space. the staff was kind and generous, especially Jonathon, who went above and beyond to help me when I sprained my ankle. one of the best albergues we've stayed in so far. Cons: Nothing bad to say. 😊.

The brand new Albergue had a shiny and bright atmosphere with wonderful staff. the outdoor laundry and drying space were great, and the on-site bar/cafe was open all day. the beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff was kind and generous. Jonathan, in particular, went out of his way to help me when I sprained my ankle, taking me to two hospitals. the albergue was clean and super quiet.
I felt totally relaxed during my stay at the Albergue La Huella in San Martin del Camino. No complaints at all.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right on the Camino. It was very convenient for those who were walking the route. The facilities were clean and new, which was a plus. I also enjoyed the fact that there was a pool available, which I can imagine would be wonderful for those traveling in the summer.
There seemed to be a lack of staff, which resulted in some delays and stress for the employees. It would have been better if there were more people available to serve and assist guests, especially during busier times.

The staff at La Huella was incredibly kind and generous, especially Jonathon who went above and beyond to help me after I sprained my ankle. He even took me to two hospitals, showing exceptional care and support. The albergue itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests. The location of the albergue was perfect, right on the Camino as you enter the town. The setting was very nice with plenty of room and a convenient clothesline for drying clothes. Additionally, they had a pool, which I can imagine would be a wonderful feature for pilgrims traveling during the summer. The bar/cafe was also very nice, and the menu del dia was both delicious and reasonably priced. All in all, it was a very convenient place to stay.
Felt cozy, no complaints.

The location was perfect, right on the Camino and as you enter the town. The modern and superbly designed rooms with a long shared balcony were a definite highlight. The rainforest shower was excellent, providing a refreshing experience. the launderette facilities were top-notch, with commercial washing machines and dryers available at a reasonable price.
There were a couple of minor inconveniences that I experienced during my stay. the automatic LED lights in the hall were blindingly bright when someone opened the door to the dormitories.

The albergue itself was brand new and had a very nice setting with plenty of room and clothesline for drying our clothes. The added bonus of a pool was great for the warmer months. The bar/cafe on-site was also very nice, and the menu del dia was delicious. Everything we needed was conveniently located in one place, making our stay even more enjoyable.

this albergue is a gem! modern rooms with an amazing shared balcony. the rainforest shower was a treat. beds were so comfortable. they even have a commercial launderette! our dinner was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to help us with our lost luggage. truly one of the best albergues on the Camino.
Slight disappointment with the AC. it didn't feel as cool as expected.

the staff at Albergue La Huella were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming. the women's room was a bit cramped with five bunks, but overall, it was a great experience. the showers had only a tiny hook, which made it difficult to hang clothes without them getting wet. there was no place to securely store valuables. Despite these minor issues, the outdoor laundry and drying space were fantastic, and the bar/cafe provided delicious food. The location was perfect, right on the Camino, and the peacefulness of the place was a definite highlight. Cons: Nothing for me. 😊.
